24/7 Emergency Gas Callouts & Response Times
A gas emergency is never convenient. If you can smell gas, your carbon monoxide alarm has sounded, a commercial kitchen has lost its gas supply mid-service, or an engineer has capped an appliance and left you with an "Immediately Dangerous" notice, our emergency line is answered around the clock — including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Call 07427 826446 and you will speak to a Gas Safe registered engineer rather than a call-handling script.
Inside the M25 we aim to have an engineer on site within two to four hours of an emergency call, and within the same working day across the Home Counties. Routine work — annual commercial gas safety certificates, boiler services, CP42 interlock testing, appliance installations — is normally booked for the same day or next day, and we will always give you a firm arrival window rather than an all-day slot so your business can keep trading.
If your premises has a gas escape, turn the supply off at the emergency control valve, ventilate the area, avoid electrical switches and naked flames, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 first. Once the supply is made safe, call us and we will attend to diagnose, repair and re-certify the installation so you can reopen legally.
Areas We Cover
We are based at 7 Bell Yard in central London and our engineers work across all 32 London boroughs and the City of London, from Westminster, Camden, Islington and Hackney through to Croydon, Ealing, Bromley and Barnet. Beyond the capital we cover the Home Counties in full — Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Hampshire, East and West Sussex, Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire.
That includes towns such as Guildford, Maidstone, Chelmsford, Watford, Reading, Portsmouth, Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge, Luton and Milton Keynes. Use our locations directory to find your nearest coverage area, or simply call us with your postcode and we will confirm availability while you are on the phone.
What Happens When You Contact Us
- We take the details. Tell us the property type, how many gas appliances are installed and what you need — a CP42 for a restaurant kitchen, a landlord certificate, a boiler repair or a new installation sign-off. If you are unsure which certificate applies, we will tell you.
- You get a fixed written quote. Pricing is confirmed before anything is booked, based on appliance count rather than time on site. There are no call-out fees and no hourly creep — see our published price list.
- We book a slot that suits you. Early mornings before service, late evenings after close, weekends and bank holidays are all available at no premium for standard work.
- The engineer attends with photo ID. We send the Gas Safe registration number in advance so you can verify it on the official register before any work starts.
- Certificates are issued on the day. Documentation is completed on site and emailed to you before the engineer leaves, ready for your insurer, landlord, managing agent or environmental health officer.
Contact FAQs
How quickly will you reply to an enquiry?+
Phone calls are answered immediately, 7 days a week from 7am to 9pm, with an out-of-hours emergency line overnight. Online enquiries and emails receive a reply within one hour during business hours.
Can I get a quote without a site visit?+
In most cases yes. Tell us the number and type of gas appliances and the property type and we can give you a fixed price over the phone. Complex plant rooms and multi-site contracts may need a short survey, which is free of charge.
Do you work outside normal business hours?+
Yes. We routinely certify commercial kitchens before opening or after closing so that trading is not interrupted, and there is no surcharge for evening or weekend appointments on standard certificate work.
How do I verify your engineer is Gas Safe registered?+
Every engineer carries a Gas Safe Register photo ID card showing their licence number and the specific categories of work they are qualified for. We send the registration number before the visit so you can check it independently.
What information should I have ready when I call?+
Your postcode, the property type, how many gas appliances are on site, whether you need a new certificate or a repair, and any deadline you are working to — for example an environmental health visit or a tenancy start date.
Do you handle multi-site or portfolio contracts?+
Yes. We manage rolling compliance programmes for letting agents, restaurant groups, care providers and facilities managers, with renewal reminders and consolidated invoicing across all sites.
